Durai Gopalakrishnan
Project Engineer
Durai (Thangadurai) Gopalakrishnan joined as Project Engineer at Universal Load Banks in January 2022. He plays a key role in load bank design and software development, with expertise in PLC, HMI, LabVIEW, and SCADA. In addition to his design responsibilities, he supports the sales team, providing on-site and remote training, and customer support.
Durai has over 20 years of experience in electrical and control system design, software development, and has successfully designed and commissioned numerous oil refineries, power plants, and process plants in the USA and internationally.
Prior to joining ULB, Durai worked for 2.5 years at Testek Solutions, where he specialized in electrical design and software development for aircraft component test stands. He also served as Head of Electrical and Instrumentation at PESCO BEAM, Lead Electrical Engineer at Margen Impex, Assistant Manager at Bajaj Hindusthan Ltd., and Senior Controls Engineer at VRL Automation.
Durai has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Dr.M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute University in India.
